Finding Attendee Passcodes

In this help article, we will be showing you how to access an attendees passcode if they have lost or not received this. You will need to ensure you are using a login type with access to user registrations and project settings, which you can check in our user login types article.

For projects with a generic passcode:

Note: Generic passcodes should be customised at the time the event is set up. Changing after attendees have registered will result in these users having outdated login details.

1
Login to the streamGo dashboard by visiting https://events.streamgo.live/dashboard, then login using credentials provided by your Project Manager.
2
Click on the "Projects" tab in the top navigation menu, then select the relevant project for your online event.
3
Upon loading, you should arrive in the "Details" section (if not, select this from the menu on the left). You can then find the generic passcode for all registrants displayed on this page:

If you should need to update this generic passcode, you can do so by removing the existing one and typing your own in the passcode box. Once you've done this, click the "Update" button in the bottom right of the page. Please note, as stated above, if you change this generic passcode after people have registered for the event, they will have outdated login details and be unable to login.

For projects with a unique passcode:

1
Login to the streamGo dashboard by visiting https://events.streamgo.live/dashboard, then login using credentials provided by your Project Manager.
2
Click on the "Projects" tab in the top navigation menu, then select the relevant project for your online event.
3
Select "Registrants" from the menu on the left hand side of the page.
4
In this section you can see the name of a registrant, the email address they are registered with, their unique passcode and the date and time they made their registration.
5
You can quickly search for a specific registrant using the search function at the top of the list.
