LinkedIn event registrations using Zapier
If you're promoting your streamGo event through LinkedIn, it is possible to automatically capture registrations in LinkedIn and add them to your event in streamGo using our Zapier integration
Setting up the event in LinkedIn
When creating your event in LinkedIn, be sure to create the event under your company page and select the registration form option;
Choosing this option will allow for data capture when promoting the event through LinkedIn.
Creating your Zap in Zapier
Once you have an active LinkedIn event, you can then configure a Zap to capture LinkedIn event registrations and push them to your streamGo event.
You can use the following Zapier template to make setup easier:
After connecting your LinkedIn company account to Zapier, you will be able to select your LinkedIn event and continue to create the Zap.
Note: When setting up Zaps, Zapier will try to retrieve real data from your account to use as a guide. If this data is unavailable, sample data will be supplied to help in setting up the Zap.
For the action part of your Zap, connect your streamGo account to Zapier, select your streamGo event and map your captured LinkedIn data to your streamGo event registration fields;
You can also choose whether you would like streamGo to send a confirmation email to the user.
That's it! Now, whenever anyone registers for your LinkedIn event, they will be automatically added to your streamGo event.
